Zimbabwe

The Victoria Falls, known by the locals as the smoke that thunder’s! While it is neither the highest nor the widest waterfall in the world, it is claimed to be the largest. This claim is based on a width of 1,708 metres (5,604 ft)http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Victoria_Falls – cite_note-3 and height of 108 metres (354 ft), forming the largest sheet of falling water in the world. Fed by the Zambizi river splitting Zimbabwe and Zambia, both countries offer a variety of accommodation from colonial hotels to luxury bush camps with an abundance of wildlife and plenty of adventure activities for the more daring traveler.
